Polecat Tavern is a place for live music and we are now booking for Saturday Evenings and some Friday Evenings.

We are booking for Solos, Duos, & a few Trios/Bands only. We are now booking our Spring/Summer Schedule, some inside and some in the parking lot, and the performance hours are 6:30-9:30 outside & 7pm-9pm/10pm inside depending on crowd. You are welcome to bring in your Merch to sell. We can provide a table if needed. Please let us know and we will be sure it is available. And don’t forget your tip jar! All bookings include advertising in social medias, local news media, our website & our weekly news letter.

We have a PA with up to 8 inputs. We have a small Alesis Nitro Mesh electronic drum kit, or you are welcome to bring in your own electronic kit, but we prefer not to use acoustic kits inside due to the size of the room. However, Cajons or other single acoustic drums work well in the room also. The acoustics in the room are really good so please be mindful of your volume, we want to keep the decibel levels to about 91 with 94 for peaks. There is a decibel meter on the west wall so you can see the volume. We suggest that you start off with a lower volume you think you need for your first song. Read the room and take feedback from the staff. Sometimes less is more, the room’s acoustics can muddle the sound when it is too loud and take away from the quality you worked so hard to maintain. Live Music is a wonderful part of Polecat Tavern and we appreciate you being here! Some folks come for the music, while others want to be able to have a conversation with their friends, so we are always working to find a balance that keeps everyone happy. If you are not well known in Carson City, then this is probably not the very first place you want to book. Not that we wouldn’t want you, we definitely would, and yes when we have been open longer and have a larger client base, we will be definitely booking more out of town acts and for more money. But in the meantime, why not try one of the larger venues first and get some attention here in Eagle Valley.
